ABOUT US
Bridging Educational Gaps
BEG is a national charity set up to address the problem of underachievement amongst African and Caribbean pupils.
The charity researches the trends in educational underachievement and devises intervention strategies to combat the problem.
What we do

Raise educational awareness in the African and Caribbean communities.

Encourage parents to take greater participation and engagement in their children's education.

Increase the visibility of successful black professionals to African and Caribbean students in order to raise aspirations through our mentoring scheme and support young people to understand what they need to be successful.

Provide counselling and career guidance to young people.

Provide tuition to primary and secondary school pupils who are at risk of underachieving.

We aim to award scholarships to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

We aim to provide under resourced African schools with resources.
